Pelican Bar

Take a 20-minute boat ride right from the Jakes Jetty, zip past miles of sun-baked shoreline and find yourself at what’s been ranked the best beach bar in the world. Swim around, kick back and catch some rays.  More information here

Breds Sports Park and General Colin Powell Challenge Course  

The Breds Treasure Beach Sports Park and Cricket Academy is a 17 acre A 17 acre community hub with tons of activities to offer, the park features tennis and multipurpose courts for basketball and netball, batting cages, two pavilions, cricket pitches, football fields, gym and a children’s play area with play equipment. The General Colin Powell Challenge Course, located at the Breds Sports Park, is an exhilarating experience that lets you climb high and stretch what you believe is possible. The course features a variety of team building exercises with the high and low ropes course, rock climbing wall and zipline.  More information here.


Beach Cookout/Shore Picnic

Join the legendary Captain Dennis in his splatter-painted boat called Super Cool for a brilliant day at sea. Imparting incredible history, stories and jokes all the way, he’ll breezily sail you for 45 minutes to a white sand beach where he’ll light a fire in the sand and cook fresh-caught fish (or lobster if it’s in season) to perfection.  More information here


Boat and Fish

Led by a crew of Treasure Beach captains, these trips are ideal in early morning and late afternoon. Pull traps set by professional fishers, cast lines yourself and bring back your catch for us to cook!  More information here

YS Falls

A 45-minute drive from Jakes, this exquisite 120-foot, eight-tiered fall features cool pools perfect for swimming, as well as a zip line, rope swing, and river tubing for the brave ones in your bunch.  More information here


Black River Safari

The Black River is 44 miles long and home to The Great Morass, a stunning wetland preserve. Sail through blue sea and navigate upriver—until the water goes dark and mangrove trees arc and shade.  More information here

Guided by the amazing chefs of Jakes, food-lovers can book a fun, festive lesson and learn all about Jamaican specialities.  More information here


Driftwood Spa

Built above a coral cove, the Driftwood spa is situated at the corner of the Jakes property, right up against the sea’s edge. Come for massages, body scrubs, body wraps, facials, reflexology and manicures and pedicures that complete any vacation. More information here



Make a Mosaic

Jakes is decorated with bespoke mosaic art, and kids 2-and up can join a workshop taught by a Montessori School Teacher named Ronda Darlyn, who perfectly nurtures young creativity.  More information here
